Volunteers and Donations

Our Energy Fair depends on the generous donations of time, money, space and expertise from volunteers, individuals, institutions, organizations and businesses. Without this support keeping the Fair affordable would not be possible. As the Fair grows each year, we need more and more volunteers to make things run smoothly. Please consider volunteering, even two hours of your time is a big help or if you’d like to get more involved, please consider joining the Energy Fair Organizing Group. It meets monthly to create the Fair and its members take on many of the coordination jobs.

As a Fair Volunteer, you will wear and take home one of our Energy Fair t-shirts, be part of a dedicated crew of great people and get to meet and talk to lots of interesting folks. We have broken things down into easy and manageable tasks. If you are interested in volunteering for the 2008 Fair, please email our volunteer coordinator Jan Hutslar at janhutslar@yahoo.com

We are dedicated to bringing energy and environmental education to everyone in the North Country and upstate New York and have kept our admission low ($5) and voluntary over all these years. Another way you can participate in helping us put on this important event is to send a contribution. Even $10 is very appreciated. Make out tax-deductible checks to CES-Energy Fair and send to: Community Energy Services, 101 Main St., Suite 2, Canton, NY 13617. If you have questions, feel free to call 315-379-9466 during office hours or email: Patricia Greene
