Youth Energy And Environment Expo
Once again the fair will play host to the Youth Energy and Environmental Expo (YEEE) . This event will be held in conjunction with the fair and is open to students in grades 4 through 12. You can work as an individual, with a parent partner, or in a team with friends.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries in each category.
- Category 1 - Middle School Students
- Category 2 - High School Students
First place entries in each category will receive prizes worth $100.
All entries will receive a gift.
Possible projects include:
- exploring renewable energy sources;
- investigating ways to conserve energy in your home, school or larger community;
- examining the impact of energy production and use on our environment;
- measuring energy use in your home, school, or vehicle. Residential energy audit kits are available for those interested.
